Obama tones down National Day of Prayer observance – CNN.com.

This is a step in the right direction.

Task Force Chairman Shirley Dobson said in a statement that she was disappointed in the “lack of participation” by the Obama administration, adding that “at this time in our country’s history, we would hope our President would recognize more fully the importance of prayer.”

Dobson will be a presenter at that event, along with her husband and former president of Focus on the Family James Dobson, author Beth Moore, NFL player Shaun Alexander and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Wait a minute! James Dobson?…. The guy from Focus on the Family? The pandering, homophobic, fear mongering leader of a ultra conservative cult? Dobson who attacked  Ed Perlmutter, running in Colorado’s 7th district, for hiring — get this — gay staffers. That James Dobson???

Can you imagine the braying of the Dobson types if the White House decided to take part in a national Pagan Day of Naked Dancing? Animal sacrifice is popular in some religions, lets have the President slaughter a goat for yahweh. How about a national day of flagellation?

This is one of those little facts you will never hear from conspiracy theorist who promote the idea of a JFK assassination plot. As a young reporter Jim Lehrer was at Love Field that morning, and had asked a secret service agent if the bubble top was going to be removed from the Presidents car. It had been raining, but was now clearing. The agent radioed to find if it was clear downtown as well, so he told others to “Take the bubble top off”.

To me this is far more interesting then any Oliver Stone fairy tail.

It is now known Pittsburgh cop killer Richard Poplawski spent hours posting racist messages on a extremist right-wing Web site called “Stormfront” under the name “Braced for Fate”, he spent his time warning of forthcoming economic collapse fueled by the “Zionist occupation” of America, decrying blacks and Latinos and praising the “AK” rifle as his ideal weapon.

You don’t have to look to far to find his ranting’s on Jews, but I found this entry on the site which dealt with a more personal issue.

Although, impregnating her certainly isnt going to do anything to sway her mind toward WN.

The original poster said something along the lines of his girlfriend thinking mixed race babies are attractive. That is DANGEROUS territory. It implies that she is supportive of interracial relationships and possibly would be willing to enter into one herself.

A short personal story- I had this attractive blonde-haired lover who became pregnant because of us generally being careless. The child was aborted against my wishes much pain, and so on (save the abortion debate for another thread)

There are several points I can draw from my personal experience that is relevant to this discussion and that post I quoted specifically

I believe that my strong WN views pushed her toward something that would tear me up inside, I think this is because I was overbearing when it came time to discuss race. ‘******s this, ******s that’ So when it came to that point where it was, ‘what can I do to really get at him?’ well, you see what happened

For a long time, I tore myself up inside for being so careless as to bring about a situation where what would have been a beautiful white child was destroyed in the womb. Now with things as they are, and although its not enough to completely remove the issue from my conscience, take a look at my beautiful white child’s potential stepfather. and do 50 pushups.

So my advice, as others have said, is not to be too overbearing in your approach to WN. Secondly, and although I laughed at the posters facetious suggestion to knock her up ASAP, its a bad idea, obviously.

You need to do an efficient, complete job of racial awakening and do it in a timely manner but not too forcefully. Sound like a tough job? Welcome to the White Nationalist movement. Such an assignment is a task with which we all are charged.

My real suggestion, if I may, sir, would be to dump this girl squarely on her head because she has shown you that you have a future race traitor on your hands. Although I see the merit of trying to prevent her from straying in that direction, know that your heart may depend on it. Good luck.

Pamela Mosier-Boss and colleagues at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego, California, are claiming to have made a “significant” discovery – clear evidence of the products of cold fusion using a special plastic to track neutrons. The researchers placed a sample of CR-39 plastic in contact with a gold or nickel cathode in an electrochemical cell filled with a mixture of palladium chloride, lithium chloride and deuterium oxide, so-called “heavy water”. When a current was passed through the cell, palladium and deuterium became deposited on the cathode.

After several weeks, the team found a small number of “triple tracks” in the plastic three 8 micrometre wide pits radiating from a point. The team says such a pattern occurs when a high-energy neutron strikes a carbon atom inside the plastic and shatters it into three charged alpha particles that rip through the plastic leaving tracks.

If you recall back in 1989, Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons proposed a their experiment as proof of cold fusion. Problem is their work could not be reproduced by anyone else. But the story caught the public imagination because the cold fusion process would mean a cheap, clean and limitless source of power. And when it didn’t pan out, many conspiratorial types started in with the old claim that the government was suppressing the discovery to aid “Big Oil”. Gee… if this free energy is so repressed, why is the latest news coming from a lab with such close government and military ties? You would think they would be easy to hush-up.

To be sure Hot Fusion does occur, it’s what powers stars like our Sun, Hot fusion reactions have been done by researchers, but so far the process requires putting in more energy than is produced, So fusion is a reality, but many scientist think cold fusion remains science fiction. Many in the field prefers to categorise the work as evidence of “low energy nuclear reactions”, something observable at tiny scale and sensitive recording equipment of a lab, but useless for any real work. It will be interesting to see what happens with the latest discovery and more importantly, if it can be scaled to a useful size.

Proving once again that they has Jumped the Shark, the animal rights organization PETA has approached actor George Clooney with the idea of making Tofu made from his sweat. And, NO, it’s not an April Fools Joke in spite of the post date. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has been offered his gym towel and wants to use his sweat to create the delicacy that will “spare animals from being killed for the table.” PETA’s Star Gimmick Is Tough to Swallow. Not near as appetizing as the time they sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream urging them to replace cow’s milk they use in their products with human breast milk.

Amusing enough stunts, not near as bad as PETA’s ongoing campaign to indoctrinate kids with propaganda. In the past PETA has but out comic books aimed at kids informing them how “Your Mommy Kills Animals” and an anti-fishing pamphlet showing dad ripping open a fish. Wonder if PETA ever thought of taking there No Fishing stance to arctic region? “Sorry Nanok, got to save the fish, try eating more snow”

All this from an organization that according to government documents killed more than 19,200 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens since 1998. I guess their thinking is “Better Dead than Pets”. They have an idea of TOTAL animal liberation. This means the complete abolition of meat, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, zoos, aquariums, circuses, wool, leather, fur, silk, hunting, fishing, and pet ownership, let not forget the terrible repression of seeing-eye dogs. Medical research is right out. PETA’s president has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.” In 2007 PETA’s Ingrid Newkirk broke her wrist…

Others include hepatitis-C carrying PETA spokesbimbo Pamela Anderson, insulin diabetic PETA Vice President Mary Beth Sweetland, and Simon Chaitowitz of the animal rights Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a breast cancer survivor. These three women owe their lives to medical research that required the use of animals.

I love the part where he say he doesn’t know what Bin Laden says in his videos because he doesn’t speak Arabic. OK, not like there is no shortage people who can translate it for you. And the part where he makes a big point of saying he doesn’t mind holding the unpopular idea, DUH MOS! You are sitting next to Salman Rushdie and two unabashed atheist. From what I can see Mos doesn’t mind holding a stupid idea.

Stem cell biologists in the US have been waiting for a long time to be able to use the more Pluripotent embryonic stem cells that were banned by the Bush administration. Reversal of the ban is an action scientists hope will lead to cures for deadly ailments like diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.

“What happened today is huge,” says Kevin Wilson, director of public policy at the American Society for Cell Biology. “We’ve gone from having a small number of cell lines eligible for federal funding to having at least a few hundred.”

The world is complex and often mysterious. So the fact people see light in the sky they can’t explain is not that unusual.

Things like the atmospheric electrical phenomenon called Ball Lightning have been known for years. And if you are not familiar with Ball Lighting by all means look it up, it’s fascinating.

Now scientist at the Tel Aviv University have discovered yet another natural light emitting phenomenon that takes place high above thunder storms called “Sprites”. True, not as intriguing as saying you looked up in the sky and saw ET flying around but I find the real world much more appealing.

These lizards are looking more like snakes, some having all but useless limbs. If you are to believe the Intellegent Design crowd a “god” made this creature this way, rather bad design I say.
