OK truthers. Here’s the offer. I would have preferred to post it in one of your groups but you guys have banned me for having the bad taste to prove your silliness wrong. Prove controlled demolition to me and I’ll give you $5,000 (I’ve lowered it from $100,000 because I might be able to actually afford $5,000). If you accept the offer and think you’ve proven your case, then if I don’t pay, you can take me to court for breach of contract and a court can decide if you actually have proven your case. What do you say? Put up or shut up.
To prevent me from having to deal with possibly defending myself in multiple cases at a time (on the off chance that a truther actually had the balls to try to make his case in court), this offer is to the person who first accepts it here only. If they fail, I can renew the offer to a second person.

In real science there is a thing called consensus of opinion. In biological science evolution has overwhelming consensus that it is true, living organisms do evolve even to the point of creating new species. The consensus of opinion in the structural engineering community is that fires in the World Trand Centers combined with structural damage from being struck by large aircraft going 450MPH caused the towers to collapse. And this idea had held water for over 10 years.
The biggest logical falicy used by both is the old “I don’t know what happened”, the old arguing from ignorance. It’s one of the laziest of tactics and also very cowardly, it requires not taking a defined stand, when proven wrong the holder can simple brush it off by saying ” I didn’t say that I was just questioning”.
The quality of the expert is important, a biological scientist with a proven history of reasearch in the study of evolution is going to take precedence over a professor of theology. The opinion of a structural engineer like Leslie Robertson is going to have great weight over an architect like Richard Gage who as far as anyone can tell has never designed a building over one story. While Robertson actually designed the structural elements of the WTC among other large buildings, the proof of his expertise is in what he has acually done not what he said he did.
It make you wonder, what kind of idiot thinks a man who because of severe brain damage due to an accident is a guy you would list as an asset to your cause? A man with a history of bazaar behaviors and ideas because of that injury. We are talking here of “Gary Fucking Busey”, everything that come out of his mouth has been a joke for years. Just like the creationist loonies the 9/11 truth crackpots have their own brand of unintentionally humor, in this bit Richard Gage seems to think that he can compare the WTC towers to boxes made of cardboard. He has used the cardboard box comparison in his lectures since the summer of 2008. He drops a smaller box of cardboard on top of a taller box of cardboard. Unsurprisingly, the taller cardboard box taking the hit does not give in to the dropping box. In his other hand he holds another small cardboard box and drops it straight to the ground. He does all this to make the point, that the WTC towers should have resisted or stopped the collapse. Of course if you are smarter than the average truther (and who isn’t), you know the towers didn’t fall at free fall or without resistance. But this is exactly the kind of stuff that appeal to the brain dead morons who make up the truther community. Unfortunately for them it is also the type of thing that people who do understand physics snicker at. You are more likely to see this demonstration from “Box Boy Gage” being show on debunking sites because it proves the mans ignorance of physics.
How utterly devoid of any form of thinking ability do you need to be to buy the often sighted 9/11 conspiracy theorist idea that some or all of the 19 9/11 hijackers are still alive?
This so called proof of US involvement got it’s start in a simple erroneous report by the BBC. The BBC reported the names of what they believed to be some of the hijackers.Some people with the same names were later discovered to be alive, a fact that was seized upon by 9/11 conspiracy theorists as proof that the hijackings were faked. These were very common Arabic and Islamic names and the BBC acknowledged these were simple cases of mistaken identity. According to John Bradley, the former managing editor of Arab News in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the only public information about the hijackers was a list of names issued by the FBI on September 14, 2001. When the FBI released photographs four days after the cited reports on September 27, the mistaken identities were quickly resolved. But because truthers have so little real proof of US involvement in the attacks you still hear them pimping this nonsense even today.
But my point in the entire affair is one of pure logic and the application of critical thinking. Even if you didn’t know of the mistaken BBC report why would you believe what the conspiracy theorist tell you? Think about it… if the hijackers are alive why would you NOT see some news organization unfriendly to the USA displaying these men for all the world to see? Iranian TV would be more than happy to prove USAs involvement in 9/11 if they could, but you have to believe they do not for some unknown reason. Well maybe they can’t because the hijackers are all dead. This alone would tell you what the truther are selling you is bullshit.
The other issue again come from purely critical thinking perspective. GET THIS! the conspiracy theorist want you to buy the idea that in planing this big false flag operation the US government created the terrorist they would ultimately blame for the attacks on the identities of real people living in the middle east! People who would be alive after 9/11. As if …. the US could not simply manufacture fake terrorist with passports, drivers licenses, pictures and all other documentation needed. The US could have their own people play the terrorist and check into flight schools and show an ability to fly large passenger jets. These fake terrorist could leave all kinds of clues linking the government of Iran to the attack. And unlike the real hijackers they would not be Saudi citizens but Iranians or Afghanis, I mean, isn’t that the whole ideas of the operation the truthers want you to buy, the US did 9/11 to justify war with Iran and Afghanistan? So why not make your fake terrorist fit the people you want to attack?

So in keep with the enormous “Brain Trust” (note the sarcasm) of 9/11 Truth famous like Charlie Sheen, Rosie O’Donnell, Heidi. Spencer, Janeane Garofalo, Woody Harrelson, Mos Def, Willie Nelson, (pot thing) and Jesse Ventura we have this guy who I am told was in Spider Man. Who the hell is Hal Sparks, and why is he such a pin head? AND his first observation on 9/11 is, get this…. Some of the hijackers are still alive.
So… what YOU want me to believe here Hal, is that some of these hijackers are sitting alive and well somewhere for nine years, and all they or anyone else unfriendly to the US government has to do to expose the big USA false flag operation of 9/11 is to pull them out in front of a camera for all the world to see? I saw a comment over on BradBlog that said this was a traditional case of mutiny on the base. After they got things settled, they didn’t want that fact to come out because it might encourage others who are feeling the same way to act out the same way, so they framed this psychiatrist who may have just been injured in the incident. Of course this is all speculation, but with the initial reports it kind of makes sense. We’ll see what comes of it if anything.
So apparently the conspiracy is that soldiers are in an armed revolt and being shot by other soldiers and the entire episode is being covered up and an innocent Muslim Army Major being made the scapegoat.
My question becomes, “How do I cash in on the scam?” Conspiracy theorist being the gullible suckers they are prime candidates for a little fleecing, If I were a scum bag I would write a book, maybe a DVD to sell to the rubes.

A very interesting controlled demolition technique in common use in France. It involves going into a prepared structure and using hydraulic jacks or other mechanical means to knock out key supports. The upper block of the building then demolishes the rest of the structure using nothing but gravity. a feat 9/11 truthers say is impossible!
You will note the upper block of mass is not slowed down much by the rest of the building. The collapse occurs quite quickly. The debris is largely confined. Though some appears propelled out the sides. The collapse of the entire structure is achieved by highly localized one or two floors failures.
So are we to now believe the French did 9/11? Yeah we all know how friendly the French are towards the US. Gee, to bad the truthers got so invested in the thermite deal, or Super Nano Thermite or whatever imagined material these kooks pull from their asses. They could have used the “French CD Technique” as the smoking gun clue. At least it LOOKS like what happened to the towers. And the American population tend to hate those Frogs, so truthers would have had a more receptive audience.

The Council of Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission are nothing more than a social clubs of otherwise powerful people. The Illuminati are nothing more than the imaginary boogie men of the rationally challenged. The Jewish conspiracy books Protocols of the Elders of Zion are fabrications concocted by bigots.
With that said small conspiracies by alienated misfits can often be quite successful at changing history. The assassination of Lincoln was a successful conspiracy of a few. The assassination of an Austrian Archduke in Serbia in 1914 started World War One. Two homeless kooks cause near panic in Washington by playing snipers. Two guys, Timothy McVay and Terry Nichols blew up theMurrah Federal Building with a crude but powerful ammonium nitrate truck bomb.
There are some very important reasons immense conspiracies do not happen, the greatest being the bigger they are the less likely they are to succeed, and more likely they are to be exposed. As Benjamin Franklin once said “Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.” The more people who know, the more likely it is someone will blab, and people do talk, be it for money, fame or just because they found god on their death beds. Knowing this propensity for man to blather, anyone who entrust an important secret to anyone else is a fool. Best you could hope for is that the secret is kept hush-hush just long enough the plan to be achieved. People who are in the position to orchestrate any sort of covert action know this, and take it into account. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid, keep the numbers of operations small so to prevent failure in any one act from spoiling the entire enterprise.
The popular idea of a ruling inner circle of humanity who grandly orchestrates great events from behind the scenes seems to excite more interest from the general public. Movie makers play up to this accepted all the time, the hero thwarts the evil governments plan, saves the days and gets the girl. Ha, If only real life were like that. Problem is believers of insider conspiracy theories see themselves as the hero, a Quixotic syndrome, an illusory reassurance of their own virtue. Conspiracy give us hope when we feel powerless, all we have to do is kill one big dragon and all will be well with the world.
Conspiracy mavins ignore the fact that the average working Joe who supposedly implement these actions must have super human dedication to their jobs. Imaging if Jack Ruby really was induced by the mafia or the CIA to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald, rather than by his anger over JFK’s assassination. Why would Ruby be willing to spend the rest of his life in prison, and not squeal or blab about his place in the event? Hell, the mafia doesn’t command that level of silence from it’s own family members, a little heroin bust and a few years of possible jail time has sent many a mob lieutenant singing to the cops. You would have to believe such conspiratorial behavior presupposes one heck of a sense of integrity and dedication on the part of all participants. Not to mention brilliantly effective coordination among far flung conspiracy members. To accept these big conspiracy theories, one must honestly feel that there are large numbers of people willing to suffer, die, kill, lose their wealth and reputation, and yet still keep silent in order to protect the good name, wealth, and power of some greedy individuals. Sorry but people just aren’t that dedicated. I dare say most people if enticed to join in a plot to kill the president or a large number of fellow Americans would run, not walk to the authorities or the press just to save their own skin. They would know that to get involved with this crime would be far to great a risk.
The conspiratorial mind set also provides a coinvent cover for ignorant bigoted people. They make the villains of these imagined conspiracies to be the educated wealthy, the Illuminati, bankers, business people. Conspiracy thinking is greater among uneducated who may be inclined to believe it’s the elite who are keeping them down, rather then their own lack of education. And while we a demonizing lets not forget the ever popular Jews. One of the first clues that 9/11 was orchestrated by someone other than Arab terrorist is the rumor, “No Jews died on 9/11″. Other times it is pure political rhetoric, all republicans are fascist, all Democrats are pinko Commies.
With that said, powerful people, movements, and institutions can carry out manipulative deceptive acts and nefarious agendas with success. But even they know these acts can not be kept secret for long, The Gulf of Tonkin Incident is all but ignored, Iran Contra meant only a small amount of jail time at Club Fed for Oliver North and didn’t effect President Reagan at all. For the people who did these actions the benefits far outweighed the inconvenience when the plots were exposed. Far cry from events like JFK and 9/11 were the benefits are so small and the risk astronomical. We are talking treason and mass murder here, something the you won’t be able to minimize with large amounts of Spin Doctoring.
