On to your apparent stereotype of Christians being the primary opponents of Atheism. I can almost guarantee that Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, the homeless guys who run around in tinfoil fats and moon boots screaming at cars, and virtually all other religious groups are opponents to Atheism. I recommend you either broaden your terms or prepare for the hate of everybody who disagrees with other people.

Now to quote you, this is the very last phrase of Paragraph 3:
“but ask what came before god and they don’t even want to think about it”
The Christian and Muslim answers are quite simple, and very much the same: “God was, is and will be”, or in other words, God has no beginning or end. The Hindu answer is rather intriguing to think about, and that is that a god called Brahma created everything, and that since then the universe has undergone an infinite number of deaths and rebirths at the hands of a god known as Shiva who carries a drum to sound the birth of the universe and a fire that will destroy it in the distant future.

As a final point, the use of Darwin as an example of an Atheist is simply playing on the stereotypes of the unknowing masses. A technique that is quite popular among the various “news” sources we see every day.

On a side note, isn’t titling this thread “Pull the Plug on Christianity” in and of itself religious hatred? A website is just as public as any billboard, and under some circumstances even more so.
