Old Hippy Videos UFO, Sleeps for Three Days

March 28th, 2010

So an aged hippy go to local peace rally, videos light in sky and thinks it’s a UFO. Goes home and sleeps for three days. Sound to me like the thing that “Jacked” his energy is his bong not little gray men out for a joy ride.

Tell me all you UFO believers. If these things are being flown by intelligent beings and I assume they do not want to be seen, WHY fly with the lights on? Doesn’t sound very intelligent to me. Hell even us lowly humans can fly around without being seen, Rule number one for NOT being seen, TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS!  Sound more like an unintelligent phenomena being misinterpreted by people who desperately want it to be aliens. Stories of close or not so close encounters sound far more exciting than saying you got drunk and saw a light in the sky, got all excited but it turned out to be a low flying helicopter or the planet Venus.

Now, If their intension is to be seen why only fly around at night and take efforts to avoid being seen. Why not fly right over Cleveland with a big banner “We Come In Peace”. If they want to tell us something important about world peace or the environment why tell it to some drunk hillbilly, old stoner or woman living in a trailer park, give your big important message to someone who is respected and know for being “non-crazy”. And for gods sake what is with the anal probe thing? And how about this thing with having sex with sad lonely and often ugly women?

This is what is called Critical Thinking. If it sounds like BS, it most likely is BS.

Some of you may remember the sightings of UFOs over Morristown, N.J. earlier this year, it to was captured on video that has been posted to YouTube. And I bet still being used as proof of alien visitors. It turned out to be simply two guys attaching road flairs to balloons. They did it to prove a point, so called “Experts” said they could not explain the light and their movements implying it could only be aliens. The news media made a big point of interviewing a professional pilot who saw the light and recognized they were not airplanes, well yeah, there were flairs tied to balloons.

So imaging getting some cheap bright flashing LED lights and a few good size balloons, instant UFOs. I would bet money a hoax is more likely than aliens pilots.

Cindy Sheehan Embracing 9/11 Crackpottery

January 10th, 2010

Cindy Sheehan is still proving herself a huge embarrassment to the anti war cause. In this recent podcast she says….

“I think a new investigation is something that many many people agree with, if people don’t start saying, ‘It’s an inside job.’ Because that turns a lot of people off, even though I think it (9-11) was an inside job, I just don’t know how far inside it went. But as soon as you say it’s an inside job, people start saying, oh, you’re accusing Dick Cheney of planning the whole thing, blah blah blah. Well, of course, some people are (laughs) but then people say, we don’t know, we need to find out. Was it CIA? Was it whoever? Whoever, um, it had to be an inside job. There’s like no way they could have done that, just like the one on December 25th. There’s no way that guy could have done it without some kind of help, and we know he got help. Who was (crosstalk) that nice-dressed man that got him through that these people witnessed, got him through security?”

Podcast Alpha Pictoris by Paul Tassopulos.

Really?… Please will someone tell her the “Inside Job” thing is dead.  All that is left is a small band of science illiterate conspiracy theorist kooks still stuck in a 2005 mind set. And are we now to believe the Underwear Bomber was an inside job?  Listen Cindy, I know you are not a genius by any stretch of the word but try thinking a little here, if the Christmas eve event was a CIA black ops job the bombing would have been more of a terror inducing incident rather than a joke, “Ha Ha, silly terrorist couldn’t even blow his own balls off”, what’s to be afraid of?

If it were a false flag operation designed to instill fear in people the aircraft would have gone down or the terrorist would have blown himself up and taken several people with him. And he would have direct links to Al Qieda rather than being a sad mixed up rich kid.

They’re Not Fish…. They’re “Sea Kittens”

May 2nd, 2009

picture-3Propaganda aimed at children is one of the more deplorable aspects of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals PETA. In an earlier post I showed PETA comic books given to kid, explaining to them how “Your Mommy and Daddy Kills Animals”, replete with gruesome illustrations. It makes sense to PETA, children are suckers for this form of scare tactic and they lack the experience to spot the illogical aspects of what PETA is selling.

Save the Sea Kittens

An informal opinion poll taken with my cats, definitely show cats do not see fish as equals on the evolutionary ladder. No they see them a food, pure and simple. Even a cat knows something PETA does not, fish are not kittens. And most people know kittens are not babies.

What I want to know is why PETA stopped at fish? Why not rats, I would put rats above fish. PETA should have the courage of their convictions and start a movement to stop the killing and poisoning of rats. So what if it will mean increases of diseases. “A Rat is a Dog, is a Baby, is a Boy” Right? Hell, why stop at fish and mammals? We have too long ignored the slaughter of billions of roaches!!!!! And what about our viral friends? Germs have rights too!

Of course what PETA wants you to forget is that fish and animals are an important source of protein for mankind and other animals, in some areas the only viable source. Man never could have evolved as far as he has without it. Picture a PETA kook telling an Eskimo NOT to fish! an island dweller to subsist on wild plants alone. Makes you wonder if PETA thinks at all. Man could not have roamed the Earth to the extent he has without becoming omnivorous. Using animals to process inedible grasses and shrubs into meat and milk was the product of increased intelligence, same with using animals to power transportation and farming equipment.

But PETA have that self hatred you see in many self righteous causes. The idea that animals are just as important as people is pure BULLSHIT!.

Frothing Overdrive in Reaction to Pittsburgh Shootings

April 5th, 2009

I don’t want to say I told you so, but I have always said the type of thinking that makes one susceptible to believing in vast conspiracies can be dangerous. Fear mongering is a main component in the selling of conspiracies, get people to believe the government is out to get them and then use that fear to sell them books feeding that fear even more. We saw this fear peddling from the left when Bush was in office. Remember, he was going to declare martial law and steal the election. And he a Dick Cheney personally pulled of the 9/11 attacks.

And now it appears a man, Richard Poplawski, who uncritically believed in the doomsday bunkum from the right wing has killed three Pittsburgh police officers because he believed Obama was out to get his guns. A friend, Aaron Bire, 22 also said Poplawski “talked about Zionists controlling the media and thought Obama had good press because of his race.” showing he may have also bought into the “Jew are out to control the world” thinking.

And our old friend and 9/11 truth kook Alex Jones is trying to downplay the event, well, Poplawski was a fan. Imaging that! a man who froths at the mouth over a non-event like Y2K, and who gets the events of 9/11 wrong, is upset because some in the press are pointing out the motive of the shootings derive from the same alarmist claptrap Jones promotes on his radio show.

Clooney Flavored Tofu Anyone?

April 1st, 2009

mom_killsProving once again that they has Jumped the Shark, the animal rights organization PETA has approached actor George Clooney with the idea of making Tofu made from his sweat. And, NO, it’s not an April Fools Joke in spite of the post date. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has been offered his gym towel and wants to use his sweat to create the delicacy that will “spare animals from being killed for the table.” PETA’s Star Gimmick Is Tough to Swallow. Not near as appetizing as the time they sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream urging them to replace cow’s milk they use in their products with human breast milk.

Amusing enough stunts, not near as bad as PETA’s ongoing campaign to indoctrinate kids with propaganda. In the past PETA has but out comic books aimed at kids informing them how “Your Mommy Kills Animals” and an anti-fishing pamphlet showing dad ripping open a fish. Wonder if PETA ever thought of taking there No Fishing stance to arctic region? “Sorry Nanok, got to save the fish, try eating more snow”

dad_killsAll this from an organization that according to government documents killed more than 19,200 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens since 1998. I guess their thinking is “Better Dead than Pets”. They have an idea of TOTAL animal liberation. This means the complete abolition of meat, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, zoos, aquariums, circuses, wool, leather, fur, silk, hunting, fishing, and pet ownership, let not forget the terrible repression of seeing-eye dogs. Medical research is right out. PETA’s president has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.” In 2007 PETA’s Ingrid Newkirk broke her wrist…

Just as I was setting out to launch my new book, Let’s Have a Dog Party!, I met a wet floor and went splat, neatly snapping the bones in my wrist. Ooh, the pain! Thank goodness for IV drips…

Maybe Ingrid was not aware the IV drip mechanism was tested on several species of animals during the 1930s, and the pain drugs she was on was most likely tested on animals. She is not the only one who has let their principles slide when push comes to shove. Others include hepatitis-C carrying PETA spokesbimbo Pamela Anderson, insulin diabetic PETA Vice President Mary Beth Sweetland, and Simon Chaitowitz of the animal rights Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a breast cancer survivor. These three women owe their lives to medical research that required the use of animals.

Large Conspiracies, Just Don’t Happen

March 29th, 2009

Sorry, But if you are the type who get pleasure out of imagining that you have figured out some grand conspiracy, you are not going to like what I have to say.

tinfoilhatarea1The fact is, acting alone, Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy, Governor Connally, and police officer Tippit in November of 1963, Oswald was a loser in life and did it for his own twisted politics and to boost his ego. On September 11 2001, disciples of a Islamist theocrat Osama bin-Laden crashed hijacked aircraft and themselves along with hundreds of other passengers into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Why? Because of twisted religious fundamentalism, they believed America to be the great devil. The Jews, CIA, or George Bush did not do it. The Council of Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission are nothing more than a social clubs of otherwise powerful people. The Illuminati are nothing more than the imaginary boogie men of the rationally challenged. The Jewish conspiracy books Protocols of the Elders of Zion are fabrications concocted by bigots.

With that said small conspiracies by alienated misfits can often be quite successful at changing history. The assassination of Lincoln was a successful conspiracy of a few. The assassination of an Austrian Archduke in Serbia in 1914 started World War One. Two homeless kooks cause near panic in Washington by playing snipers. Two guys, Timothy McVay and Terry Nichols blew up theMurrah Federal Building with a crude but powerful ammonium nitrate truck bomb.

There are some very important reasons immense conspiracies do not happen, the greatest being the bigger they are the less likely they are to succeed, and more likely they are to be exposed. As Benjamin Franklin once said “Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.” The more people who know, the more likely it is someone will blab, and people do talk, be it for money, fame or just because they found god on their death beds. Knowing this propensity for man to blather, anyone who entrust an important secret to anyone else is a fool. Best you could hope for is that the secret is kept hush-hush just long enough the plan to be achieved. People who are in the position to orchestrate any sort of covert action know this, and take it into account. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid, keep the numbers of operations small so to prevent failure in any one act from spoiling the entire enterprise.

The popular idea of a ruling inner circle of humanity who grandly orchestrates great events from behind the scenes seems to excite more interest from the general public. Movie makers play up to this accepted all the time, the hero thwarts the evil governments plan, saves the days and gets the girl. Ha, If only real life were like that. Problem is believers of insider conspiracy theories see themselves as the hero, a Quixotic syndrome, an illusory reassurance of their own virtue. Conspiracy give us hope when we feel powerless, all we have to do is kill one big dragon and all will be well with the world.

Conspiracy mavins ignore the fact that the average working Joe who supposedly implement these actions must have super human dedication to their jobs. Imaging if Jack Ruby really was induced by the mafia or the CIA to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald, rather than by his anger over JFK’s assassination. Why would Ruby be willing to spend the rest of his life in prison, and not squeal or blab about his place in the event? Hell, the mafia doesn’t command that level of silence from it’s own family members, a little heroin bust and a few years of possible jail time has sent many a mob lieutenant singing to the cops. You would have to believe such conspiratorial behavior presupposes one heck of a sense of integrity and dedication on the part of all participants. Not to mention brilliantly effective coordination among far flung conspiracy members. To accept these big conspiracy theories, one must honestly feel that there are large numbers of people willing to suffer, die, kill, lose their wealth and reputation, and yet still keep silent in order to protect the good name, wealth, and power of some greedy individuals. Sorry but people just aren’t that dedicated. I dare say most people if enticed to join in a plot to kill the president or a large number of fellow Americans would run, not walk to the authorities or the press just to save their own skin. They would know that to get involved with this crime would be far to great a risk.

070823troofersxyh7
The conspiratorial mind set also provides a coinvent cover for ignorant bigoted people. They make the villains of these imagined conspiracies to be the educated wealthy, the Illuminati, bankers, business people. Conspiracy thinking is greater among uneducated who may be inclined to believe it’s the elite who are keeping them down, rather then their own lack of education. And while we a demonizing lets not forget the ever popular Jews. One of the first clues that 9/11 was orchestrated by someone other than Arab terrorist is the rumor, “No Jews died on 9/11″. Other times it is pure political rhetoric, all republicans are fascist, all Democrats are pinko Commies.

With that said, powerful people, movements, and institutions can carry out manipulative deceptive acts and nefarious agendas with success. But even they know these acts can not be kept secret for long, The Gulf of Tonkin Incident is all but ignored, Iran Contra meant only a small amount of jail time at Club Fed for Oliver North and didn’t effect President Reagan at all. For the people who did these actions the benefits far outweighed the inconvenience when the plots were exposed. Far cry from events like JFK and 9/11 were the benefits are so small and the risk astronomical. We are talking treason and mass murder here, something the you won’t be able to minimize with large amounts of Spin Doctoring.

Let’s not forget it is conspiracy theorist who have carried out the worst evils. Nazi propaganda was based on the fantasy of a conspiratorial nature of Jews. Socialist paint a conspiratorial view of individual capitalism, Jonestown and Waco were driven by madmen who taught a conspiratorial view of government, Muslims see the rest of the western world as infidels out to get them.

So the next time someone tries to get you to drink the conspiracy Kool-Aid, ask yourself if YOU would get involved with the proposed conspiracy or if YOU would keep quiet about it if you knew of it. Chances are you would not, and chances are neither would anybody else. Chances are the proposed conspiracy is just pure bullshit.
