How to cut Steel? Use a Thermal Lance
Posted: July 27, 2008 at 9:55 amIt’s amazing you get truthers who still claim pictures like this show evidence of “Super Thermite Beam Cutting Bombs!” Gee! As if such imagined things actually existed.
After the collapse of the towers one of the first call for help was for workers to help with rescue and clean-up operations, and the biggest need at the time was for ironworkers with torches to help cut through the tangle of bent and broken steel beams. If you are truly curious, like me, you would do a little research and find much of the cutting on the debris pile was done with a device call a “Thermal lance or Thermic lance or Burning bar.” Basically a long metal tube with steel rods inside in which pure oxygen is introduced and ignited, this device can burns through just about anything and as it does it leaves slag like you see in the photo above. Dishonest truthers claim this slag can only be the product of a thermite cutting device, Never mind the fact no one has actuality built such a device, but hell why let a little thing like facts get in the way of a good story.
If you are Steven Jones or any of the other lamebrain truther types you find ways of ignoring pictures like these below that clearly show workers doing this exact sort of cutting that would create the angle cut beams truthers try and sell as proof of a controlled demolition. Thuthers do have a way of “recycling” disinformation.
And thanks to an Italian debunker 11 SETTEMBRE we have an even clearer demonstration of how these “torches” work. Note this slab of steel is far bigger then the steel used in the towers but the torch make neat work of the job and leaves behind the molten slag the truthers say proves the use of thermite.

Interesting points yet you fail to even touch on the copious amounts of thermite photographed oozing out the sides of both towers prior to collapse. Are we to believe that rescue workers started hollowing out the burning buildings as they were evacuating people. Nice try but your movement, as per usual, is wafer thin and hasn’t even the lamest leg to stand on. Wake up.

Thanks for posting the pictures because your own pictures DISPROVE the validity of your insane claim. In fact, I can go into my company’s metal shop anytime of the day and disprove it as well given there are plenty of torches in there. Anyway, when torches cut through steel the slag for the most part doesn’t run down BOTH sides. Usually the slag runs down the opposite side of the cut. This is evident in your bottom three pictures where anyone can see that the majority of the slag has run down the OPPOSITE side of the cuts that the man in green has made. When do you find slag running equally down the inside and outside of angle cut beams as in your top picture? When controlled demolitions are used. The cuts are made at an angle so that the building walks off its foundation aiding in the demolition of the building. Your pictures speak a thousand words. You should learn from them sometime. The truth is self evident as your own pictures prove and anyone with access to google video can also see the event in slow motion revealing the evidence of mis-timed squibs that go off far below the demolition wave.
In your world the government never lies and always tells the truth and public figures are not swayed by money or greed. Larry Silverstein says cable and internet require the electricity to be turned off to install and you believe him? Marvin Bush, brother of George, whose company ran security for both Dulles Airport, United Airlines, and the Towers remains silent on 911 and you believe he is innocent? The government tells you that an airplane flew into “squishy” earth and was swallowed whole leaving no major debris, no tail sections, no bodies, no fuselage, and you believe them? The government reports on September the 10th that the military has lost a trillion dollars and you question not? The government says that the black box data shows the plane coming straight on to hit the Pentagon which previously contradicts their statement that it came in from another direction hitting light poles on the highway and you see no reason to question which is true? The government says that devote Arabs, going to meet ALLAH the next day, are seen getting drunk at a strip bar the previous day and you believe this is normal Arab behavior before meeting one’s god? You are told that a black smoke office fire burning unevenly can create a simultaneous collapse of all the untouched steel members and you believe this over what physics says? Here’s a good one… find me those pictures of the missing WMD, they’d go great with what you got above.

Even if the controlled demolition was not the only way to get the vuts that were observed – why would anyone not consider it as a possibility?

To Ronald: 100,000 people. That’s how many people were “IN ON IT” …it was called The Manhattan Project. And these are just the ones that were discovered and brought to public attention. This is the past that you so-called “debunkers” ignore while you’re kissing the ass of traitors and putting yellow ribbon stickers and flags on your gas-guzzling SUV’s. These events DID involve conspiracies across states from coast to coast involving all manner of professionals, the willing, people paid to shut up, people blackmailed to keep quiet, and people assassinated who would not.
The United States government has a record of conspiracy, torture, lying, fraud, theft, and MURDER. That is the cowardice that YOU are fine with, and defend. The inside job of 9/11 is one more point of dishonor added to a growing list.
You’re number of “99.999%” is complete crap that does not hold to truth. Most real conspiracies only need a few people in key positions. As to nothing ever being done maybe you haven’t lived enough. I’ve seen the Berlin Wall come down in my lifetime, I’ve seen G.I.’s finally get compensation for agent orange, I’ve seen an entire line of rolling tanks stopped cold by the bravery of ONE PERSON, and I’ve seen a national politician named Nicolae Ceausescu pulled out of his ivory tower dictatorship after 24 years and shot in the head along with his wife. Truthers have lied more times than Bush & Friends. Truthers have said missles were used, voice altering equpiment was used, military planes were used, the planes were remote controlled, the media had foreknowledge, controlled demolitions were planted in advance, and other such nonsense. Truthers have taken segments of witness interviews and blown what they say totally out of context. Witnesses have even had to reclarify what they meant, including a witness of the AA jet hitting the Pentagon, and even Silverstein himself.
Truthers have missed the biggest lie of all by Bush & Friends, that being Iraq had WMD!!! But, since you’ve lied as much as the current admin, you’ve lost all credibility, just like America.
The truth movement is dead. Get over it and move on. There are more important things to worry about, like overpopulation, Global Warming, enemies of the state, pollution, health care, employment, education, etc etc… Your energy would be better spent contributing to any of these in a positive way.
Unfortunately for all the cowards involved, the TRUTH movement is alive and well and gaining momentum everyday because it IS the TRUTH. I dont understand who put this site up or why? what kind of conspiracy theory is it now? I dont see anything wrong with these pics? some beams look like they were worked on by thermic lances and others maybe cut by large diamond saws even the one cut at an angle so what? maybe its cut that way to assure a nice timber fall or it could of broke like that its not unheard of,,in fact if you look close you can see the molten iron oxide left from a blow torch making the cut or perhaps a lance.
Yeah, 9/11 was definitely an inside job! It’s self-evident!
