You can in the preferences chose to map a smaller section of the large tablet to you screen. In effect having a small tablet on the big tablet drawing area.

Hi David thank you for a very intresting article.

I have a Wacom Intuos 3 PTZ631 which I use mainly for photographic work with a drawing area of apprx 11 x 6.5" and have never really got to grips with it. I bought the largest one at the time that fitted my budget but it is (for me) only really useful for my photograhic work the rest of the time I'm using my optical mouse. I did (and) do not find it easy to set up and work with.
This could be my natural ability not to really instructions to the letter) but my biggest problem is the size. Though I have a lagre Eizo screen I'm finding the drawing area too large and seem to have to move the pen my more than what seems comfortable. Also if I'm not contrentating and touch the zoom bars either side all hell is let loose.

My question do you think an advantage would be gained in buying a smaller size and whether the later models may have an advantage over my existing one.

Many thanks, Paul a new tablet.
