I really love the bold color and non- symmetrical cubist shapes of this art car.  Audi was the official automotive sponsor of Art Chicago 2007, There they introduced this Audi RS4 Art car created by Brazilian-born Pop artist Romero Britto.

2001 BMW 330c owner Travis Todd of Louisiana was inspired by the BMW art cars of the 1970s so he pulled the hood off his car and propping it up in the living room. He used an oil-based Sharpie brand paint marker and just started drawing. 12 hour later he has what you see here.

The art is being protected via five-or-so layers of wax. Sharpie says the pens are oil based and UV resistant.

Artist Jonathan Schipper has the modle cars rigged up to a sort of gear drive that slowly mashes them together over the course of a entire month! The movement is so slow as to be imperceptible resulting in the world’s slowest wreck. Done for a for a full sized piece yet to be constructed.

Jackie Stewart Tyrrell 006

The Tyrrell 006 was a Formula One car designed and built by the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. It was introduced towards the end of 1972. In the hands of Jackie Stewart it won the Drivers’ Championship for the 1973 Formula One season.
