Triumph TR-6

Painting depicts a 1970′s era Triumph TR-6. This was the last of the classic Triumph two seater sportscars. Powered by 2500cc steel head 6 cylinder engine it had more power than the other four cylinder sports cars. Styling was by Karmann in Germany and modernized version of the TR-4/250. Tighter emissions controls sucked power but never took away the sound. The 5mph Rubber bumpers were down right ugly. In 1975 along came the wedge shaped 4 banger TR-7, it just was not the same after that.

   I wanted this print form my husband’s b-day. His TR6 is white with black pinstripe and brown interior. I wasn’t sure what white would look like on your white background. Do you have any thoughts/ideas? Also, how long will it take to receive the print? I’m in Dallas, Texas. Thanks!

   I own a 1976 TR6, factory original with a luggage rack on the boot lid. Car is pimento red with black interior. You probably won’t have trouble with the color, but will the luggage rack pose a problem? I could email a pic to you.
