First drawn on a bar napkin and then photographed with the iPad camera to use as a go-by. Brought into Procreate on its own layer and other layers added to paint on background, class, lifework and highlights.

I am not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, I am more of a visual person so you will have to bear with me on this little review. But every once in a while you run across something that knocks your socks off.
Of late I have been making use of a very incredible iPad drawing and painting application called Procreate. I started using iPad art apps on my first generation iPad. And I seem to have collected quite a collection of applications for creating art. SketchBook, ArtStudio, Brushes, and more, but Procreate in my opinion has left them all in the dust.
New iPad Art August 2012
New Artwork created on my iPad 3. Mostly using the Procreate App. I love the way this app allows large expressive brushed but still has small detail brushes. The new “Retina” display on the new iPad is great and the increase in resolution of the images you can work on is a big deal.
