Companion piece to my painting of the new model Saleen Mustang. This is the Mustang of Parnelli Jones that competed in the 1970 Tans Am racing series.  In 1970, spectators watched Parnelli in his black striped Grabber Orange Boss 302 Mustang take numerous checkered flags to win the overall championship. This painting shows that car long with the newer 2010 Saleen Mustang reflected in the water below. A version with the new Mustang on top is in the works.

This painting depicts the 1970 Mustang Mach 1, seen here in Grabber Orange.

Elsewhere on my site you will find the same basic car as a 1970 Boss 302. also 1969 Boss 302 and Mach 1. As I created this art for the 69 and 70 Mustangs I found there was a lot of differences in hood and side stripping treatments and hood scoops, a.k.a. Shaker and Normal scoops. As well as myriad options like the read wing and rear window louvers. Many of these options can be added or subtracted from print orders.
