Automotive art for a parking lot. It’s hard to say if these cars are sinking into the parking lot or rising out of it. In the 70s this was part of an art installation In your typical suburban shopping mall called Hamden Plaza in New York.

Unfortunately the ravages of time and the wheels of countless skateboarders had cause the interesting display to deteriorate to the point of having to be returned to it’s original purpose sometime around 2003.

I would like to do a fact check- the Hamden plaza is not in New York, it’s in Connecticut.
Just a quick correction – Hamden is in Connecticut.
